An explanation to my Followers

Hi

Just a little note to say why Ive been absent for a while. I haven't fallen off the face of the planet, I just haven't felt or had the time to craft just lately. As some of you may not know my husband and I are big caravanners (a couple of pikeys!!!) we go on lots of rallies, so because of this we traded our 3 year old caravan in for a brand new one, with a fixed bed and end bathroom. As a consequence of this all our contents had to live in the dining room and the whole house looked a complete mess! Its now back into its new home, and the caravan is superb!

To top it all, I work full time as an Accounts Administrator for a company that supply plastering products to the construction industry. Work is very slack, so I asked my boss for extra work as by lunch time I'm worked up. Now as a consequence of this my job is under risk of redundancy! They have offered me part time hours (15 hours a week, which is 3 hours per day) and I think I will take it. My next meeting is tomorrow at 10 am to discuss it.

So when Ive spring cleaned the house, you might see some cards!!!

Bye for now, I'm off to bed!

Madison birthday card

Time for another card. I wasn't going to do any crafting last night but my craft room was calling to me. I went up there to look for some tent pegs for our caravan awning but didn't find them! Then I tidied the mess from previous crafting episodes and then I coloured this cute image of Madison for my daughters friends birthday card. I based the colours around the designer paper which is from a retro pack from DCW (think Ive missed a letter out) Used ink to distress the edges, used my swiss dots cuttle bug folder to emboss the sentiment and coloured Madison with my prismas. The flowers I layered up with primas and quilled ones. Thank you for looking

First attempt at Crochet Flowers

Well Ive had a go at crocheting. Learnt these by following a you tube tutorial. They are made using crochet cotton. A very fine yarn but it makes the flowers nice and small. The circle I also crocheted. The card was for my friend June, who was thrilled to bits with it. She said that she is going to frame it and put it in her bedroom. The tilda is one of the two I own coloured with prismas and I used glamour glitter on her wings. Papers I think are printed from canon scrapbook freebie site. Thank you for looking.
