Inspirational Card Sketches #14 - Rose's Garden

Im on a roll, two posts in less than a day! I made this card for a friend who loves gardening. The lovely Sarah Kay image is a stamped image that I won in a recent candy win. I coloured her with my prismas. The sketch is from Inspirational card sketches. She was a bit tedious to colour in but I like the finished result. Then I faffed with the flowers, which I made using my nesties. Hubby wasnt best pleased cos he said you have been up in your craft room all night. What does he expect, he was watching snooker!! The cuttlebug embossing was supposed to be the other way, its showing the debossed side, but I think it looks ok. Thank you for looking.

Paper: From Stash
Flowers: Made with nesties using handmade paper
Brads Dovecraft
Tools: Nesties, Cuttlebug folder, fiskars border punch, prismas

  8. Hi Julie, thanks for the lovely comments. I don't do real stitching on my cards - I use a dressmakers wheel and add 'stitching' with a pen. If you want any WOJ images to play around with, let me know and I'll stamp a selection for you, you'll be hooked!

I tried to follow your blog but since my AOL account crashed I've been using Internet Explorer and it won't allow the pop up box, so when I get back on AOL I'll see if it works!!

  11. Hi Julie, thank you so much for visiting me so regularly, I do so appreciate it and your comments. I normally go to Staples to get my A3 card and so far I havent found the right size envelopes for them, Ive been making up boxes for the deeper ones, but like you I think I may have to get some A4 size envelopes and maybe cut them down, or even make them out of the 12"x12" paper, Ive done that for my daughter when she had the baby. Love and hugs Shirleyxxxx
