Spanish Senorita!!!

As I have lots of family birthdays coming up in the next few weeks, I thought I would make a start on them. It isn't for any challenges but I have used a past sketch. I keep my sketches in a little notebook so that I can refer back to them when I need to. Any how this card is for my niece Alice, she is 12 so I thought that she needed a more grown up card. I have used my new downloads from Charmed Crafts and used Holly from the World Tour collection. Thank you for looking

Aren' I Lucky!!!

Over the last two days Ive received two marvelous award from my lovely friend Shirley (Nannieflash). The first one is an Inspirational Blog award and the second one is the Lemonade Stand Award. Here they are.

These are the ladies I would like these awards to go to.

All these ladies give me real inspiration. I have found new friendships since I started blogging. I would also like to thank all the people who follow me.

I also have to divulge something that no-one knows about me - hmmm - quite a spendthrift, money runs through my fingers.

A special 65th Wedding Anniversary Card

Ok, this card is what Ive been working on for the past couple of days. My friend June asked me to make a special card for her friends who have been married for 65 years in June. I am entering it into the Cute Card Thursday because you have to utilise numbers or letters on your card. I hope it qualifies as the numbers arent actually on the front. Got to dash and get ready for work!

Thanks for looking

Creative Inspirations Challenge #8

I quite enjoyed doing this card a sketch from Creative Inspirations, again on a large card base, 7" square. It was one of those cards where you get smudges over everything, so I had to keep adding stuff! The running Tilda is another stamped image from a recent image swap. Flowers are quilled one and the little pearls I bought this weekend, they actually have a fragrance to them. Thank you for taking the time to look.

Card Base: Made from 2 sheets of card

Papers:- From stash, patterned paper is a retro paper from DCW

Tools:- Nestie (labels)

Image:- Running Tilda coloured with prismas.

Cor Blimey 5 in 1 !!!

I even had to write them all down and check first. I absolutely love this card, its definetley going to someone who appreciates the work that has gone into it as it took me two hours to do, good job I'm not on piece rate! These are the challenges it covers Creative Card Tuesday - Everybody emboss, Sketch Card Saturday - to follow sketch #49, Colour Create - Chocolate, red and cream, A Spoon full of sugar - Touchy Feely and finally ABC Challenge - M for Metallic. Now to the card.

Its the first 8" square card I have made and what a huge difference this makes, so much room! The flowers I made by quilling them. I had been making them wrong until I watched a lady demonstrating on create and craft she showed another way and it was so much easier. Papers and ribbons are from my stash. The lovely gorguss girl is from a recent image swap, thanks Shirley. Anyway must go, the kids are clamouring for the pc!!!!

Thanks for looking
