Inspirational Card Sketches #14 - Rose's Garden

Im on a roll, two posts in less than a day! I made this card for a friend who loves gardening. The lovely Sarah Kay image is a stamped image that I won in a recent candy win. I coloured her with my prismas. The sketch is from Inspirational card sketches. She was a bit tedious to colour in but I like the finished result. Then I faffed with the flowers, which I made using my nesties. Hubby wasnt best pleased cos he said you have been up in your craft room all night. What does he expect, he was watching snooker!! The cuttlebug embossing was supposed to be the other way, its showing the debossed side, but I think it looks ok. Thank you for looking.

Spots and Stripes!

I got a chance to make a card this afternoon! Victoria, my daughter, got sent home from school with conjunctivitis, poor thing. She's on antibiotic drops. So in my newly tidied craft room I did this card. It covers two challenges Mojo Monday(to follow this weeks sketch) and Papertake Weekly Challenge. Papertake Weekly wanted you to create a card using spots and stripes. The papers are from a recent blog candy win. The flower roses I have made by quilling them. Thank you for looking.

"Get your Sunglasses!!!"

Because it's a bright card!!! Ive located my craft room at long last. Its usual mess as usual but I had to get a card done for a friend. I went to visit my good friend Sara, she has lent me load of stuff, so Ive got to have a sort out my stuff again. The card is for my work colleague son who is into exotic pets! He wanted a iguana has a kid but his mum drew the line at that. The image is from another colouring website I just coloured him with my prismas. Its also happens to qualify for a challenge on Three Clover Designs. You had to include an animal. Also trying to do a new layout for my posts. One of the lovely blogs I follow is Paperdreams, I really like how Barbara sets her posts out. Thank you for looking. Sorry photos a bit skew wiff!

Sketch and Stash Challenge #8

Hi girlies. At long last Ive managed to get myself into my craft room (tucked away in the loft) to at first tidy it (cos it was a mess) and to create this card for the Sketch and Stash Challenge #8. Their sponsor this week is Bee Crafty which incidently their shop is only 10 miles from my house, the prize is a download of your choice. Ive never been there yet, but is on my list of "must visit". I really enjoyed doing this card. It is a thank you to my daughter's guide unit. They made a real fuss of me on my 40th birthday recently, the guides cooked pizza and chocolate cake, made me a lovely card and sang Happy Birthday to me. It was a lovely end to a really good weekend. Victoria also was enrolled as a guide as well. Anyway enough prattling on. The image is actually from a colouring website called Colouring.com, the image is 70's girls. They are free to use providing you link back to their website. I used my new prismas pencils to colour the image (I really love these pencils). I cut them with my new nesties. The quilled flower is also something new I have tried. I thought I could create some flower by quilling them, its a bit skew-wiff but it was my first go. The papers and ribbon are from my stash that I printed ages ago. Thank you for looking.

A Card coloured with my new "Prisma's"

Ive finally been able to publish a post. Its been over a week since Ive made a card, what with my birthday and going away in the caravan this weekend. My new prismas arrived last Friday along with my nesties and lyra watercolours. I only just had time to rip open the packet and look at them for a few minutes before we set off. Anyway when I got back my neighbour said "can you make me a 50th Birthday card". Here is what I made. I used my patchwork numbers from Crafters Companion and coloured them with my new prismas. I used Sansador to blend the colours along with the paper stumps. Then I just mounted them onto the nesties, tied the ribbon around them and punched some flowers out to decorate. I just made the card up as I went along. Thank you for taking the time to look.
